We are looking for an eager, self-starting Clinical Application Specialist to join our team! A Clinical Apps Application Specialist plays a key role in the installation, configuration and delivery of InTouch Clinical Applications to a wide range of healthcare organisations and telehealth programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional to engage in an exciting project-based environment in healthcare, providing vital support to clients as they embrace the platform while also supporting their long term program goals.
Functions as technical lead and participates in workshops to capture the required information for a Clinical Apps install and to meet defined objectives
Acting as a key technical point of contact for the client throughout the implementation lifecycle
Responsible for guiding the customer through initial implementation and ongoing changes in their clinical workflow processes and building the solutions and applications utilizing the InTouch Clinical Apps platform tools
Manages technical requirements and implements data interfaces, such HL7 interfaces, between InTouch Clinical Apps and customer EHR or other data systems
Manages application integration with InTouch’s PACS solution or other InTouch product solutions
Contributes to planning assignments that are consistent with InTouch’s ability to deliver Clinical Apps within the Delivery Framework Model
Resolves client issues working at both process and technical level suggesting relevant approaches
Understands and consistently meets client expectations within scope of assignment role, while applying relevant InTouch methods
Constructs & delivers presentations using structure & style appropriate to audience
Develops an understanding of Clinical use cases and programs, service lines, business dynamics and regulatory and HIPAA issues for the U.S. healthcare market
Assists the future growth of InTouch by helping identify opportunities for additional business within Clinical Apps in addition to broader opportunities
Responsible for defined pre-sales activities as required, including production of proposals
Has a clear understanding of the contract and commercial terms applying to the assignment and ensures that InTouch is not compromised by non-compliance
Complies with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times
Responsible for product demonstrations and product training when required
Actively shares Product and Product Configuration knowledge with internal product development and operations teams
Strong communication skills with an affable and credible persona, including formal presentations
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, taking a balanced view of client demands
Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
Good team player with strong leadership, coaching and people management skills

Performance and patient outcomes
BS/BA Required. MBA, Computer Science, Engineering or informatics degree a strong plus
A Minimum of 3 years commercial experience within a software delivery, business analysis, clinical informatics, clinical data systems or implementation consulting environment
Flexibility in work schedule and the ability to travel variably ~50% of the time is required
